Jenny Charles Offers L-club a night of HOPE!

Bring your favorite finger food, drink to share

Our vision is for every man in Nashville to have the opportunity to succeed personally and professionally, regardless of his circumstances. We envision a stronger community made up of stronger families and stronger men.

"4:13 Strong provides housing, job training and job placement for at-risk men. The intensive, residential program gives men a lifeline to make lasting change, because every man deserves a chance to reach their potential. Come hear the stories from the young men in the program and the adversity they have faced. https://413strong.org/devins-story/ " Jenny Charles

Jenny Charles is an Assistant District Attorney in Nashville where she handles crimes ranging from robberies to rapes and homicides. In 2016 she began a program for those charged with misdemeanor unlawful gun possession called Violence Interrupted. The goal of the program is to disrupt the cycle of violence for defendants enmeshed in a lifestyle of firearms and narcotics. The program connects participants to resources and community members offering mental health and substance abuse counseling as well as job training.

Jenny is a member of several local non-profit boards and community organizations including The Dismas House, 4:13 Strong, A Step Ahead, and the Women’s Political Collaborative of Tennessee. She is a proud mom and aspiring writer although she doesn't do as much aspiring as she should.

Jenny Charles, one of Nashville's most promising Assistant DA'S wants to introduce you to some men who are working to make better lives through a program called 4:13

Strong.A fantastic opportunity to see the workings of the criminal justice first-hand. Next Saturday, May 11th, 6:30. Bring your favorite finger food/drink and join us for a memorable evening. (also below, notice a way that YOU can act to save our public schools!)

From Assistant District Attorney Jenny Charles:

"I would LOVE to host another criminal justice L Club and present 3 criminal cases to the audience and have discussion like we did last time...only this time we would have a twist! We'd have a positive ending where the people discussed in the 3 cases would actually come to the L Club and be there to meet everyone to show that rehabilitation is possible."

Jenny will introduce us to the young men of 4:13 Strong which is an organization that teaches job training for skilled construction jobs in Nashville. Many of the program's participants come from backgrounds filled with trauma, homelessness and poverty. 4:13 Strong houses, clothes and job trains to equip the men with skills for independent living, financial literacy, and the ability to earn a living wage.
